Invitation management

Auto withdraw LinkedIn invitations before pending requests pile up

Every unanswered connection request stays pending until someone cleans it up. ReachPods withdraws invitations automatically after the number of days you choose, lets a campaign withdraw an invitation as a step, and shows each account’s sent and received invitations in one place.

Overview

Why pending LinkedIn invitations matter

A large backlog of pending connection requests is one of the clearest signals that an account is sending more invitations than people want to accept. It also clutters the account: the invitations you care about get lost among hundreds that will never be answered.

Withdrawing old invitations by hand means opening each LinkedIn account, scrolling through sent invitations and clicking withdraw one by one. With several accounts, nobody does it, and the backlog grows every week.

ReachPods handles it in three ways: an auto-withdraw setting per account that removes invitations still pending after N days, a Withdraw invitation step you can place in any campaign flow, and a per-account view of sent and received invitations where you can withdraw, accept or decline in a click.

Auto-withdraw

Withdraw pending LinkedIn invitations automatically after N days

Turn on auto-withdraw old invitations in a LinkedIn account’s settings and choose a number of days. From then on, ReachPods regularly looks at that account’s sent invitations and withdraws any that are still pending past the threshold.

Withdrawals are actions like any other: they count toward the account’s own daily limit (40 by default), respect working hours and are paced with random gaps. The setting is per account, so a brand-new profile and a seasoned one can use different thresholds.

  • Threshold in days, per account
  • Runs in the background
  • Own daily limit and pacing
  • Works across every connected account

Withdraw step

Withdraw an invitation as a step in your LinkedIn sequence

Sometimes the right moment to withdraw depends on the campaign, not the calendar. The Withdraw invitation step cancels the pending invitation for that lead, wherever you place it in the flow.

The classic pattern: send the invitation, wait on accepted within 14 days?, and on the “no” branch withdraw it and send an email that acknowledges you tried LinkedIn first. The prospect gets one clean ask per channel instead of an invitation that lingers forever.

  • Place it anywhere in a flow
  • Pairs with the “accepted?” condition
  • Hand off to email, WhatsApp or InMail

Received invitations

Accept or decline received LinkedIn invitations without opening LinkedIn

Outreach works, so people invite you back. Each connected LinkedIn account has a list of received invitations in ReachPods, where you can accept or decline each one. Accepted invitations become connections you can message straight away, or enroll in a campaign.

For teams running many accounts, it means inbound interest never sits unanswered in a profile nobody has opened this week.

FAQ

Auto withdraw LinkedIn invitations: questions and answers

Something else on your mind? Get started and try it on your own accounts.

Why should I withdraw pending LinkedIn invitations?

A big backlog of unanswered invitations clutters the account and can be read as a sign of low-quality outreach. Withdrawing old ones keeps the pending list short.

How long should I wait before withdrawing?

Most people accept within the first week or two. A threshold of two to four weeks is a common choice; you set it per account.

Do withdrawals count toward my limits?

Yes. Withdrawals have their own daily limit per account (40 by default) and are paced like every other action.

Can I withdraw invitations from inside a campaign?

Yes. Add the “Withdraw invitation” step wherever it fits, typically after an “invitation accepted?” condition times out.

Can I accept invitations automatically?

You can review and accept or decline received invitations for every connected account from ReachPods, one click each.
