Overview

Two channels, one conversation

Running LinkedIn in one tool and email in another means two lead lists, two schedules and no idea what the other channel did. Prospects get an email the same hour they accept your invitation, or a LinkedIn bump after they already replied by email.

ReachPods runs both in one visual flow. Conditions connect them: invitation accepted? decides whether a lead gets a LinkedIn message or an email; email opened? and link clicked? can trigger a LinkedIn visit or invitation; has email? routes leads without an address to LinkedIn-only paths.

Each lead keeps one LinkedIn account and one mailbox for the whole campaign, every touch lands on one timeline, and a reply on either channel stops both.

Email fallback

Email the prospects who don’t accept your LinkedIn invitation

The most common ReachPods flow: visit, invite with a note, wait seven days on invitation accepted?. Accepted leads get a LinkedIn message; everyone else gets an email that acknowledges the invitation (“I sent you a note on LinkedIn last week…”).

Because the email only goes to people who didn’t accept, it can say exactly that, and nobody is contacted on two channels at once.

  • Email only on the “no” branch
  • Copy that references LinkedIn
  • Optional invitation withdrawal first

Signals flow the other way too. Start with email, wait on link clicked?, and send a LinkedIn profile visit and invitation to the people who engaged. They’ll recognise your name from the email.

Data-driven routing

Route each lead to the channel they can actually receive

Has email?, has LinkedIn?, has phone? and number on WhatsApp? conditions answer instantly from the lead record, so one campaign can handle a mixed list: LinkedIn for people with a profile URL, email for people with an address, WhatsApp for the rest.

  • Has email / LinkedIn / phone
  • Number on WhatsApp
  • One campaign for a mixed list

One inbox

LinkedIn and email replies in one inbox, with one timeline

Replies from both channels land in the unified inbox, next to the lead’s full timeline: invitation sent, accepted or not, emails sent, opened, clicked. You know exactly what they’ve seen before you reply.

  • Unified inbox
  • Cross-channel lead timeline
  • Stop-on-reply everywhere

FAQ

LinkedIn and email sequences: questions and answers

Something else on your mind? Get started and try it on your own accounts.

Should I use LinkedIn or email for outreach?

Both work better together. LinkedIn builds familiarity, email reaches people who ignore LinkedIn. A flow that hands off between them reaches more people with fewer touches each.

Will a lead get a LinkedIn message and an email at the same time?

Not if you build the flow with conditions. For example, the email only goes to people who didn’t accept the invitation.

What if I don’t have an email address for some leads?

Use the “has email?” condition to keep them on LinkedIn-only paths.

Does a LinkedIn reply stop the emails?

Yes. A reply on any channel stops the lead’s sequence on every channel.
